Father’s Day

It depends on where you put the apostrophe; a holiday for all dads, a holiday for me. This year’s card–postmarked 2,000 miles away, three days ago–depicts a father and son fishing on a dock, a dog beside them sniffing a pail of worms. Inside, a 16-year-old jests at the fallacy of such things smudged by tears.
