Again November and the evening welcomes
itself in early each day as the sun sees

itself out I move the house plant into
its winter window And realize how interior

my life has become Lately I’ve been practicing
kindness Setting up the dinner table even

the salad forks after combing out the knots
from my sun bleached split ends

The self is a big responsibility especially
when there is no one there to watch you

So I’m saving up for Ring camera Three
enough for every room So each night

I’ll sit down and watch the day at ten
times speed Take notes and figure out

exactly who I am
