Thirty years ago a little girl pressed RECORD on the VHS player while Mary
Martin a female panda all blond pixie-cut & long green-nyloned legs descending
pulled a prank as a boy bending the bamboo disguised as a lady munching green
shoots a coy soprano above Hook’s arduous tenor & from then on Peter Pan
wooed the captain with snippets of a TV documentary stuck between her
notes climbing from canopy to floor while the pirate cried oh, tell me your name!
