Notes on the Fiction Selections

I am the kind of person who likes the unexpected. I especially like it in a story which has led me down a familiar path and then punched me in the gut, or pulled me along for a ride that reached a destination I never saw coming. The fiction selections in this issue all have this common thread: the unexpected. From the emotions entangled in one’s first kiss to the request of a person you thought was a friend, my hope is that you will find yourself surprised by these stories and that these stories will both inspire and uplift you in an otherwise chaotic time.

Enjoy,
