Cotton the tender wounds. Munch hateful syllables. Prepare for whatever cannot be anticipated. Scatter memories across barren grass. Chase the geese from man-made ponds. Blender the past and future. Mother the one who is inconsolable. Consider where these scars come from. Camouflage your fears. Remind me of all that is lost. Find me in the midst of the tornado’s spiral, catch and release me. Whisper the combination to my dreams. Weave me a party to reunite my disassociated selves. Read to me in the language of light. Make promises on the stars that have already burned out.
