When neon
gas was discovered
in the 1800s
those stately
chemists marveled
at their Aurora Borealis
in a bottle.
Now Jupiter’s
north and south auroras
encase electric blue,
its smoke-like rings
revealed by infrared
to kiss
this runt moon.
