let beams be slant: let it be,
go forth boneless beams–
bent like bent like bent like twigs
so broken–core of world,
sun-locked shredded strays:
beams, bricks upon bricks
cemented in a mind lost by life–
what doesn’t it all mean? when revealed,
slipped voices to recognize–
we know no better, between real and creviced
slits and slots meant for dew and sorrow:
so goes body of earth, world in itself–
let it be forgotten, for us–lost intangible skin
