The Citron Review is pleased to announce our nominations for this year’s Pushcart Prize series in the areas of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. This was a very difficult decision or our editors, narrowing our nominees, as we have been honored to publish outstanding works by very talented writers throughout every issue.
Water is Wide by Matthew Brennan
Cut of Fever by Sara Henning
Downtown by Louis Borgeouis
The Wild Things by Melba Major
Neighborhood Watch by Ray Shea
The Man Remembers the Only Cummerbund He Has Ever Worn by Charles Rafferty
It has been a fantastic year in literature online, and I am optimistic that The Pushcart Prize will also recognize the amazing talent that online journals are showcasing and sharing with thousands of readers. Congratulations again to our nominees and we wish them the very best of luck!
